Profiles are named for how they ride — "Techy singletrack", "All-day epic", "Uplift laps" — not for what they set. Applying one opens the guardrail: every parameter as before → after, only while the bike is standing still, and every write verified by reading it back from the motor. The word "applied" is earned, never assumed.

The tuning safety contract
